UTSA Community Connection

UTSA Community Connection is an online resource maintained by the UTSA Office of Community Outreach, a division of the Office of Vice President for Community Services, to connect community members to programs, events and activities at UTSA designed for individual and community development.

We invite you to use this website as a tool to search for UTSA programs and activities that benefit the community and invite community participation.

From Classroom to Community

At the University of Texas at San Antonio, learning and problem solving extend beyond the campus. We are committed to community engagement initiatives that not only transform the lives of individuals but also the communities they live, work and play in.

By working together with community partners, UTSA faculty, staff and students are able to extend knowledge, resources and expertise into the community to address community needs and discover real world solutions.

At UTSA, we recognize that learning and problem solving shouldn't just happen in the classroom. That is why Community Engagement is identified as one of the important roles of our university. We have laid out five goals as part of our Strategic Plan 2016 that address the importance of engagement with our community.
